HINGED FIRE DOORS

Most common type of fire door. Used in passageways of buildings between the fire compartments. Saajos Fire Doors are made of non-combustible materials that prevent fire spreading for certain time. Features are indicated according to the classification standard SFS-EN 13501-2:

  • Capability to prevent fire and flame spread are tested acc. to fire test standard SFS-EN 1634-1
  • Mechanical strength is tested acc. to SFS-EN 14600

SLIDING FIRE DOORS

Sliding fire door is needed when the construction opening is large. The door is installed on the wall on top of the opening where it moves along the wall on a rail. Features below are indicated according to the classification standard SFS-EN 13501-2: :

PRESSURE:PROOF FIRE DOORS

Pressure-proof fire doors have been designed and tested to withstand the stress of a pressure impact in addition to “standard fire door”. Doors are made of non-combustible materials that prevent fire spreading for certain time. Features are indicated according to the classification standard SFS-EN 13501-2:

  • Capability to prevent fire and flame spread are tested acc. to fire test standard SFS-EN 1634-1
  • Mechanical strength is tested acc. to SFS-EN 14600
  • Pressure impact has been tested at Laboratory of air handling technology at VTT Expert Services, Finland
    • HFO-doors between 0,01 – 0,4 bar
    • HPO-doors with explosive pressure 1,0 bar
  • Flying particles and hurricane test have been performed for HPO door according to standards ASTM E 1886-05 and ASTM 1996-09

Locations that require burglar resistance in addition to fire safety. Burglary resistance features are expressed according to the classification standard SFS-EN 1627 and fire-proof features according to the classification standard SFS-EN 13501-2:

  • Mechanical strength is tested acc. to SFS-EN 14600
  • Burglary resistance is tested acc. to SFS-EN 1628, 1629 and 1630, class 3
